To ensure expert advice on various elements of reality based martial arts, training guidance and protocol, the International Modern Hapkido Federation has named the the following individuals as Country Representatives and added them to the Council of Masters:

The Defensor Method is a mix consisting mainly of Serrada, Pekiti-Tirsia, and Villabrille systems,with a strong inclusion of specific elements from silat (mainly the takedowns), muay Thai, and western boxing.

Master Pat Sergott

Master Patrick Sergott has a distinguished record as a Staff Sergeant in USMC and as an active duty police officer. He is retired from both at this time and is operating American Ronin Enterprises specializing in advanced tactics training for law enforcement officers.

Patrick Sergott was Chief Scout/Sniper of a S.T.A. (Surveillance and Target Acquisition) platoon during the Persian Gulf war. He was retired from the Marine Corps after 12 years of service as a result of disabilities related to that engagement.

Patrick Sergott spent six years as a police officer in the Chicago area as a Tactical Officer working gang crimes and undercover drugs. He is an expert marksman with the PD in pistol and shotgun. He has been a sniper on Emergency response Teams. He is a FBI trained sniper.

His dedication to country, community, and comrades in arms makes him a valuable asset to any organization.

Master Sergott has recently returned from a security assignment in Afghanistan this year..
