Class Rules:
Training in self defense is mental as well as physical in nature. Besides techniques of self-defense,
we are learning to react and control our bodies which builds self-esteem, discipline, and respect for other people.
These mental aspects are attained in part by following certain protocols and behaviors during class.
Always:
· Follow all safety rules

for classes.

Realize that training with an injury can lead to further and more serious injury. Pay attention to
what
your body tells you. Self Defense isf self- protection. If you think you need to stop to protect your health, do so, no matter what the instructor is telling
the class to do. It's
your body, you decide what you can do.
These rules are for the benefit of all students. Violations of these rules may lead to an unsatisfactory
grade or removal from the class. We are not only learning to defend ourselves, but also how to take care of each other.
